Description
A soft, white, and brined cheese. It’s originally from Greece and is used in many Mediterranean dishes, it’s flavor is tangy and sharp when it’s made with goat milk but milder with cows milk. Produced in blocks and is firm to the touch. However, it can crumble when cut and has a creamy mouth feel.
Ingredients: 100% milk, starter culture, rennet enzyme and salt
Usage: Feta is used as a table cheese, in salads such as Greek salad, and in pastr. It is often served with olive oil or olives, and sprinkled with aromatic herbs such as oregano.
